I've thought about taking it to the local dealer about this, now I'm
glad to hear that you and others have the same problem. Looks to me
as if this is a common problem to all Savages, but nothing to worry about then.
Works like designed.
Always were glad like Ken to have counted the gears up and down and to hit
neutral exactly without shifting down to 1st when comming to a stop.
Ken, I've seen digital gearcounters on big bikes already, also mechanical
gearshifting-gauges on cars. This would really be a great thing on the Savage,
maybe someone has seen a thing like this before on a bike.......?
